Group Manager Technology Assurance & Cyber Security Auditor

About the role

The Group Manager Technology Assurance & Cyber Security Auditor leads the audit function for the organisation’s IT environment. Reporting to the Group Lead, this role ensures that information systems, cyber security controls and related processes are effective, compliant and aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk‑based audits of IT infrastructure, including networks, telecoms, operating systems, databases and business applications.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of cyber security controls and recommend enhancements.
• Monitor and report on key IT and cyber security risks, ensuring timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular reviews of new technology products and services for security and compliance implications.
• Participate in technology project evaluations to verify adherence to security standards.
• Prepare and present audit findings, corrective action plans and final reports to senior management.
• Oversee risk management processes related to technology and cyber security, including risk appetite, escalation procedures and model validation.

• Experience in leading audit teams and driving continuous improvement in control environments.
