Software Product Owner (TS/SCI)

About the role

ARKA is seeking an experienced Software Product Owner to lead its Enterprise team. You will act as the voice of the customer, translating business goals into actionable technical requirements and guiding the development team through the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, creating, refining, and prioritising user stories and epics.
• Translate high‑level features into detailed specifications for engineering.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and customer stakeholders, providing regular updates and gathering feedback.
• Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, UX/UI, marketing and support to ensure successful delivery.
• Define acceptance criteria for user stories and validate delivered solutions.
• Leverage technical background to communicate effectively with engineers and make informed trade‑off decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or systems engineering.
• 2‑3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or a similar role.
• Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
