Immunization Specialist (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Immunization Specialist will provide professional leadership for UNICEF’s immunization programme in Togo, working closely with the Child Survival, Maternal and Child Health, and Nutrition components. The role focuses on planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation to achieve national immunization goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of immunization strategies, ensuring integration of gender‑responsive data.
• Provide technical support and capacity‑building to government staff, NGOs, and partners throughout the programme cycle.
• Monitor programme performance, conduct situation analyses, and adjust plans to improve delivery and sustainability.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align immunization activities with broader health objectives.
• Ensure accountability for supply assistance, fund disbursement, and reporting to both UNICEF and the Government of Togo.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in immunization or public health programme management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies and development partners.
• Strong analytical skills for data‑driven decision‑making.
