Roving Quarry Technician – Togo

About the role

The Roving Quarry Technician will work on‑site across BIA’s quarry operations in Togo, delivering technical interventions on a wide range of equipment. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, safety and optimal performance in line with maintenance contracts and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment according to shop manuals and OEM standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment availability and utilisation.
• Follow planning instructions, complete required reporting and represent BIA’s values on the field.
• Maintain safe working conditions, comply with HSE policies, report any health, safety or environmental issues and attend mandatory HSE events.
• Stop work immediately if a serious or imminent danger is identified and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Technical mindset with a strong focus on equipment reliability and safety.
• Ability to work independently in remote quarry environments.
• Willingness to follow strict HSE procedures and report issues promptly.
