Design Engineer (HVAC)

About the role

The Design Engineer (HVAC) will be responsible for designing, sizing and optimizing VRF and DX air‑conditioning systems. You will prepare technical proposals, perform cooling load calculations and support project teams to deliver efficient, compliant and cost‑effective HVAC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and select VRF and DX HVAC systems according to project requirements while ensuring compliance with technical standards.
• Perform cooling load calculations, thermal assessments and propose optimized technical solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, tender documents and develop HVAC drawings using AutoCAD.
• Select equipment using HVAC selection software and ensure specifications meet project needs.
• Provide technical support during tendering, execution and commissioning phases and participate in technical meetings with internal teams, clients and partners.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and internal teams to guarantee compliance with standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC system design, particularly with VRF and commercial air‑conditioning systems.
• Strong analytical and system optimisation skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team.
