Logistics Officer – Health (Temporary, 364 days)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Logistics Officer for its Health programme in Lome, Togo. The officer will support the supply chain of a small‑sized country office, ensuring that essential health commodities and services reach children and communities efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the supply team and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations.
• Manage planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution of health supplies.
• Monitor supplies, services and construction works to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
• Provide emergency response logistics and support programme partners in defining supply interventions.
• Offer technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply chain management.
• Promote innovation in products and markets to improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract Law, International Development, Health or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience at national or international level in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting or related technical fields.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and build harmonious relationships.
