Computer Vision Annotator – Remote

About the role

The Computer Vision Annotator will work remotely to create high‑quality labeled datasets that power object detection, classification, segmentation and tracking models. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure annotations meet project specifications and improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Draw precise bounding boxes, polygons, polylines and key points on images and video.
• Create 3D cuboids and annotate point‑cloud or LiDAR data for autonomous‑vehicle and robotics use cases.
• Perform semantic and instance segmentation, labeling every pixel where required.
• Interpret complex labeling taxonomies and refine guidelines with project managers.
• Use advanced features of tools such as CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Identify ambiguous cases, edge cases and potential dataset biases, and report findings.
• Contribute to best‑practice documentation and training materials for new annotators.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks like resizing images or synchronising timestamps.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in data annotation or quality assurance for computer‑vision projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent, high‑precision output.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Hands‑on experience with CVAT.
• Hands‑on experience with Label Studio.
• Hands‑on experience with 3D Slicer.
• Hands‑on experience with Supervisely.
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
