Estimator & Construction Project Lead

About the role

MilleNext Group is looking for an experienced Estimator & Construction Project Lead to manage cost estimating and bid development for construction projects across the US and Africa. The role combines technical estimation expertise with project leadership to ensure competitive, accurate proposals and successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Analyze project plans, technical specs, geotechnical reports and regulatory requirements to develop realistic budgets and schedules.
• Lead the full bid lifecycle from RFP review to final proposal submission, coordinating internal reviews and ensuring compliance.
• Identify commercial and operational risks in contract terms and scope.
• Solicit, evaluate and manage vendor and subcontractor quotations, maintaining strong relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction cost estimation and bid management.
• Familiarity with telecommunications, fiber optic, network infrastructure and structured cabling projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical and regulatory documents.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
