Landside Operations Agent – Lomé, Togo

About the role

Join Maersk’s logistics team in Lomé as a Landside Operations Agent. You will support day‑to‑day transport planning, documentation, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth cargo movement and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily transport planning and maintain documentation readiness.
• Update TrakIT and TMS systems with accurate, real‑time information.
• Track cargo, generate tracking reports, and provide timely updates to internal teams.
• Create vendor purchase orders and manage vendor performance based on demand.
• Collaborate with ICX, Sales, and Procurement to reduce churn and accelerate new business conversion.
• Meet timeline commitments to customers while controlling costs.
• Support business growth through efficient transportation planning and vendor management.

Required profile

• Strong background in operations with proven landside delivery experience.
• High sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of the local logistics market in Togo.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to turn impacts into business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TrakIT system.
• Experience using Transportation Management System (TMS).
