Marketing & Sales Specialist – Heavy Duty Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Marketing & Sales Specialist to join our Heavy Equipment division operating in Togo and Benin. The role focuses on promoting construction machinery such as mobile cranes, tower cranes and concrete equipment, while building a pipeline of new customers and supporting existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets, pipeline and collection goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for product lines.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and on‑site visits to present products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Record and update all activities in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to the line manager.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Marketing, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business Management.
• Proven sales experience in engineering machinery or heavy equipment (e.g., mobile cranes, tower cranes, concrete machinery, excavators).
• Technical aptitude to understand machinery specifications and applications.
• Knowledge of the construction or heavy‑equipment industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for lead and activity management.
• Understanding of machinery specifications and applications.
