Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer – SolidWorks

About the role

We are looking for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer to create and convert engineering drawings using SolidWorks. The role supports our clients by delivering accurate 3D models and detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks 2024 or newer.
• Convert hand‑drafted sketches into fully detailed 3D models and drawings.
• Produce high‑quality technical drawings and plans based on client specifications.
• Maintain drawing files, records, and documentation in a structured manner.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, to scale, and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• High proficiency with SolidWorks (2022 certification preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time‑management and attention to detail.
• Bilingual in French and English.

Required skills

• SolidWorks 2024 (or newer) for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• SolidWorks 2022 modeling and drawing capabilities.
• Product Data Management (PDM) knowledge.
