About the role
NTU International is seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening policy dialogue, institutional cooperation and programme governance between European and African space stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate policy dialogue and coordination between EU and African Union space institutions.
- Support the design and implementation of governance mechanisms, steering bodies and inter‑institutional processes.
- Provide expert advice on EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including the African Space Agency and regional bodies.
- Contribute to knowledge exchange, innovation promotion and private‑sector engagement within the partnership.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
- At least 4 years of experience with EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes.
- Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of EU space policy and African space governance structures (AfSA, AUC, RECs).
- Experience with inter‑institutional dialogue, steering mechanisms and programme governance.
