Finance Manager – Relocate to Africa

About the role

As Finance Manager you will be based in Africa, leading OBT’s financial operations across its shipping and logistics business. You will ensure accurate reporting, robust controls and provide financial insight to support growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, delivering performance reporting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury activities, banking relationships and foreign‑exchange exposure.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or OHADA), tax regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and regulators.
• Provide financial insights and decision support to operational and commercial teams.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes and reporting systems.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in logistics, shipping or multi‑entity international businesses.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven leadership experience supervising or mentoring finance staff.
• Willingness to relocate to Africa and work on‑site.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS or OHADA accounting standards.
• Experience with multi‑currency and cross‑border financial operations.
