Finance Manager – Shipping & Logistics (Togo/Benin)

About the role

As Finance Manager at OBT, you will be based in the Togo or Benin office and lead the company’s financial operations across its pan‑African shipping and logistics business. You will ensure accurate reporting, robust controls and provide financial insight to support growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, driving performance reporting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury activities, banking relationships and foreign‑exchange exposure.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS or OHADA standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate audits, tax advisors and regulatory filings.
• Provide financial analysis and decision support to operational and commercial teams.
• Strengthen internal controls, streamline financial processes and reporting systems.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in logistics, shipping or multi‑entity international businesses.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate to Africa and work onsite.
