Local Consultant – Anti-Corruption Education (Primary & Secondary)

About the role
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) seeks a local consultant to strengthen anti‑corruption education for primary and secondary learners in Togo. The consultant will work within the GRACE initiative, updating curricula, delivering trainings and supporting local educators to embed child‑centred, behaviour‑change approaches.
Key responsibilities
- Revise and update existing GRACE primary lesson plans and training manuals, integrating enhanced anti‑corruption content and UNODC feedback.
- Harmonise secondary education and non‑formal education (NFE) manuals to improve pedagogical quality.
- Deliver two virtual training sessions for UNODC staff on anti‑corruption education, including preparation of PowerPoint presentations and a concise overview document.
- Organise and facilitate a basic and a Training‑of‑Trainers (ToT) workshop for secondary educators and relevant stakeholders in Togo, focusing on child‑centred pedagogy and GRACE tools.
- Conduct debriefings with national counterparts, prepare a short training report and manage outreach, agenda setting and logistical arrangements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in designing and delivering education or training programmes on anti‑corruption, ethics or related topics.
- Familiarity with child‑centred pedagogical approaches and behaviour‑change methodologies.
- Ability to work closely with UNODC staff, national education authorities and other stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills for workshop planning, reporting and follow‑up activities.
