Sales Specialist (bilingual in English and French)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Specialist to join our sales team in Lomé. The role is essential for driving sales growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence across Togo.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and promotional strategies to inform decision‑making.
• Showcase and demonstrate company products to customers, highlighting features and benefits to close deals.
• Negotiate sales agreements and achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategic sales techniques and promotional plans tailored to market dynamics.
• Ensure timely recovery and collection of sales payments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and negotiate with suppliers as needed.
• Collect, organize, and maintain comprehensive customer profiles.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, performance metrics, and insights for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the ceramics or building‑materials sector.
• Proven B2B sales expertise with retailers and distributors.
• Solid understanding of product information and market trends.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in French; multilingual abilities (English, Ewe) are a plus.
