Video Game Composer (Remote, Full‑time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Video Game Composer to create dynamic, immersive scores that define the sonic identity of our upcoming titles. This remote position offers both full‑time and contract options, allowing you to shape music that reacts to player choices and gameplay moments.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores ranging from ambient environments to intense combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop adaptive music layers and stems that respond to real‑time player actions and changing game states.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music aligns with mood and pacing.
• Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) with seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, properly labeled and exported according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DAWs such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, or Pro Tools.
• Experience integrating music using Wwise or FMOD.
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine for audio implementation.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, orchestration, and arrangement.
