Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, and validating backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system designs. The role combines strong technical knowledge with meticulous attention to detail to ensure high‑quality training data for artificial‑intelligence models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that involve authentication mechanisms, microservices, and event‑driven designs.
• Validate scalability, performance, reliability, and security standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured evaluation feedback and engineering reasoning for each annotation.
• Review database queries, authentication systems, and containerized deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.
