Finance Controller – Solar Business

About the role

The Finance Controller – Solar Business will lead financial governance for the organization’s solar operations across West Africa. Based in Lomé, the role ensures robust financial planning, reporting, and control while supporting strategic decisions and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting for solar projects.
• Produce management information systems (MIS) and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Monitor CAPEX, cost tracking, profitability analysis and project finance controls.
• Establish internal controls, compliance frameworks and coordinate audit processes.
• Manage cash‑flow planning, working‑capital optimization and treasury activities.
• Provide financial analysis to support commercial decisions and contract management.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities and external advisors.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, HR and Business Leadership teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) and MBA or Master’s in Finance an advantage.
• Experience in renewable energy, solar, EPC or infrastructure finance, preferably in African markets.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Lomé, Togo.
