Manager, Regional Innovation Pods

About the role

The Manager of Regional Innovation Pods will lead the rollout and operation of a network of innovation pods across all 117 municipalities in Togo. Reporting to the National Innovation Agency, the role supports the country’s digital transformation agenda by fostering entrepreneurship, delivering business advisory services, and building digital talent.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the establishment of regional innovation pods in each municipality.
• Provide business advisory, training programmes, and market intelligence to startups and SMEs.
• Align pod activities with the national innovation strategy and the Tech Hub’s objectives.
• Monitor performance metrics, report progress, and ensure quality of services.
• Facilitate collaboration between government agencies, private sector partners, and international donors.
• Promote digital inclusion and support the development of market‑relevant innovations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing innovation, entrepreneurship or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector innovation ecosystems.
• Ability to work across multiple municipalities and coordinate diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent English (CV must be submitted in English); French language skills are advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical abilities.
