Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Non‑Key Expert to integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations into the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The specialist will ensure inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated by the cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion across programme activities.
• Ensure inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities within the Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.

Required skills

• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese (asset).
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy (asset).
