Lead Construction Supervision Engineer Consultant

About the role

The Lead Construction Supervision Engineer Consultant will serve as the principal independent technical focal point for the construction phase of a Korea‑funded rural infrastructure and drinking water project in Togo. The role combines structural engineering review, construction quality assurance, and full ESHS (environment, safety, health, security) oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the construction of eco‑friendly rural facilities, including a school, health centre, public market, incubation centre, waste and sanitation system, and associated water infrastructure.
• Conduct structural engineering verification and ensure compliance with design specifications and donor requirements.
• Oversee ESHS compliance throughout the construction period.
• Coordinate specialist consultants in hydrogeology, water systems, and solar/electro‑mechanical technologies.
• Consolidate inputs from specialists into unified progress and quality reports for the Project Management Unit.
• Manage milestones, identify and mitigate construction risks, and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil, Structural or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in leading construction supervision for multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with donor‑funded projects and strict quality‑assurance procedures.
• Ability to work on‑site in remote locations and coordinate multiple technical experts.
