Part-Time Central Processing Technician

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Central Processing Technician to manage the inventory, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical supplies and instruments within our surgery center. The position works Tuesday through Friday and does not require night, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments.
• Assemble, wrap, label, and package sterile instruments and equipment.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain central processing (CP) equipment.
• Perform and record all biological and chemical sterilization tests.
• Issue and receive durable clinical equipment and sterile supplies.
• Conduct inventory duties and verify sterilization parameters before release.

Required profile

• Prior experience in central processing or sterile processing.
• Ability to obtain Central Processing Certification from HSPA within one year of hire.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
