Pre-Op & Recovery Registered Nurse

About the role

The Pre‑Op & Recovery Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in an Ambulatory Surgical Center. You will work closely with physicians and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient transitions from pre‑operative preparation through post‑operative recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Assume full responsibility for patient care in line with physician orders and center policies.
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain control, and address any complications during recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status to the healthcare team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.
• 2–5 years of experience in pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative surgical patient care.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
