Country Director – Togo & Benin

About the role

The Country Director for Togo and Benin will provide strategic leadership for CBM’s disability and inclusive development programmes across both countries. Based in Lomé, the role ensures high‑quality delivery, strong partnerships, and alignment with CBM’s Federation strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Country Plan, ensuring performance meets CBM’s strategic objectives.
• Maintain financial discipline, oversee budgeting, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Identify programme opportunities and demonstrate CBM’s value to donors, governments, and partners.
• Represent CBM to external stakeholders, influencing national development agendas toward inclusion and poverty reduction.
• Build and sustain a high‑quality workforce, fostering capacity building and organisational development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director, Global Programme Development and Implementation.

Required profile

• Relevant academic degree in International Development, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior management within an INGO or international development organisation.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, programme oversight, and complex project management.
• Strong background in organisational development, change management, and capacity building.
• Demonstrated financial management expertise.
