Programme Specialist (P3) – Lomé, Togo

About the role

The Programme Specialist (P3) will be based in Lomé, Togo, reporting directly to the UNFPA Representative. The role supports programme coordination, resource mobilisation and high‑quality reporting across the Country Programme, with particular focus on the Luxembourg project and other sensitive initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate programme actions and ensure alignment with UNFPA strategic objectives.
• Support the Representative in mobilising resources and engaging donors, bilateral and multilateral partners.
• Prepare and deliver timely, high‑quality reports for the Country Programme and specific projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with national authorities, civil society, development partners and other UN agencies.
• Ensure compliance with UNFPA policies and strengthen the capacity of the Country Office team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme coordination and resource mobilisation within a UN or similar development environment.
• Familiarity with donor engagement, reporting standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Capacity to produce high‑quality analytical reports and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
