RN Pre-Admission Testing / Pre-Op & Recovery

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgical Center team, focusing on pre‑admission testing, pre‑operative, and recovery care. The role involves direct patient interaction, assessment of anesthesia risk, and coordination with physicians and other RNs. No nights, weekends, major holidays, or on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Contact incoming patients to obtain and review health history.
• Analyze and assess clinical data related to anesthesia risk and ASC site suitability.
• Provide nursing care in pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative settings.
• Coordinate with other RNs and communicate with physician offices.
• Document care using Electronic Medical Records and related software.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current state RN license.
• Minimum one year experience in pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative surgical patient care.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification.
• Experience with EMR systems and software such as One Medical Passport and HST.
