Surgical Technologist (Orthopedic)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our orthopedic operating rooms. The position offers a regular schedule with no nights, weekends, major holidays, or on‑call duties, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and equipment for orthopedic procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, including washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites.
• Transport and position patients on the operating table, applying sterile drapes.
• Pass instruments, hold retractors, cut sutures, and count sponges, needles, and supplies.
• Operate sterilizers, surgical lights, suction machines, and diagnostic equipment.
• Handle specimen collection, labeling, and disposal for laboratory analysis.
• Support post‑operative patient transfer to recovery and restock the operating room.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Minimum 2 years of orthopedic surgical experience; joint replacement and spine experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to follow hospital regulations and patient safety protocols.
