Logistics Officer – Health

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Logistics Officer specialized in health to support its operations in Lome, Togo. The officer will report to the Head of Operations or the Supply and Logistics Manager and will ensure the efficient management of the supply chain for health‑related programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the supply team and ensure delivery of logistics services.
• Plan, procure, contract, and manage customs clearance for health supplies.
• Oversee warehousing, in‑country transport, and distribution of goods.
• Monitor supplies, services, and construction works to meet programme needs.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to define supply interventions.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply‑chain management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, International Development, Health or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience at national or international level in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting or related technical fields.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and build harmonious relationships.
