Partnership Facilitator I – Tchaoudjo, Togo

About the role

The Partnership Facilitator I serves as Compassion’s primary liaison with local churches in Tchaoudjo, Togo. The role focuses on strengthening church ownership, capacity and resources to minister to children and youth, while ensuring child protection is central to all activities.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate for children’s needs and integrate child‑protection considerations into every decision and activity.
• Build and nurture respectful, trust‑based relationships with church partners, following Compassion’s Partnership Management core process.
• Facilitate collaborative reflection on youth and church outcomes and co‑create strategies that enhance local capacity and maturity.
• Support churches in mobilising local resources, engaging parents, schools and community influencers, and sharing resources among nearby churches.
• Identify capacity‑development needs of pastors and church staff, and coordinate with Church Facing Team members to provide appropriate support.
• Coach junior facilitators and contribute to the overall development mindset across the partnership.

Required profile

• Intermediate‑level professional with experience in partnership or community development.
• Demonstrated commitment to child protection and adherence to Compassion’s Code of Conduct.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong relational skills to engage church leaders, parents, and community change‑makers.
