Manager, Partnerships – National Innovation Agency

About the role

The Manager, Partnerships will lead the development and execution of partnership strategies for the newly created National Innovation Agency in Togo. Working closely with the Ministry of Public Service Efficiency and Digital Transformation and the Tony Blair Institute, you will help build an ecosystem that drives digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and talent development across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive partnership framework with private sector, NGOs, donors, and international organisations.
• Coordinate with the Ministry and the Tech Hub to align partnership activities with national digital transformation goals.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage partnership agreements that support the creation of innovation pods in all 117 municipalities.
• Provide business advisory support, training programmes, and market intelligence to partner organisations.
• Monitor partnership performance, produce regular reports, and ensure coherence across the national innovation ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development, preferably within the public sector or digital innovation space.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, innovation ecosystems, and entrepreneurship support mechanisms.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and communicate effectively in English (French is a plus).
• Track record of managing multi‑stakeholder projects and delivering results.
