About the role
In partnership with Intermountain Health, Surgery Partners is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Nurse to join its ambulatory surgical center team on a part‑time basis. The role involves circulating duties, patient care before, during and after procedures, and ensuring a safe surgical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform circulating functions, monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition throughout the procedure.
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment and supplies for use.
- Position patients and ensure their safety during surgeries.
- Manage overall nursing care of patients before, during and after the procedure.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum one year of experience in an OR setting; ability to scrub as well as circulate preferred.
Required skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
