Logistics Officer – Health (Temporary, 364 days)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Logistics Officer for Health programmes in Lome, Togo. The role is a temporary 364‑day appointment reporting to the Head of Operations or Supply and Logistics Manager. You will support the supply chain of the country office, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services that enable health interventions for children.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the supply team and oversee daily logistics operations.
• Plan, procure, contract, and manage customs clearance for health‑related commodities.
• Coordinate warehousing, in‑country transport, and distribution to programme sites.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, services and construction works.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national partners on supply chain management.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to define supply interventions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, International Development, Health or related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience at national or international level in supply, logistics, procurement or related technical fields.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and build harmonious relationships.
