Per Diem OR Nurse – Ambulatory Surgical Center

About the role

Surgery Partners, in partnership with Intermountain Health, is looking for an experienced Operating Room (OR) Nurse to work on a per‑diem basis in an Ambulatory Surgical Center. The position offers a consistent Tuesday‑Friday schedule with no holidays or weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Circulate in the OR, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition throughout procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for each case.
• Position patients safely and ensure their well‑being before, during, and after surgery.
• Act as the liaison between the surgical team and the rest of the center, facilitating smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of experience working in an OR setting.
• Ability to both scrub and circulate is preferred.
