Policy Committee Member

About the role

SkillOunce is seeking dedicated individuals to join its Policy Committee on a pro‑bono basis. Members will help shape the organization’s approach to integrating skills, ethics, and AI‑driven transformation into societal development.

Key responsibilities

• Attend monthly committee meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
• Assist in developing and implementing policy frameworks that balance AI advancement with ethical considerations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary experts to translate design‑engineering concepts into actionable policies.
• Provide insights on law, ethics, economics, and finance to ensure sustainable solutions.
• Support the organization’s fundraising and sustainability efforts as needed.

Required profile

• Strong multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary capabilities.
• Ability to integrate design‑engineering methods across diverse domains.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to at least three hours per week and participation in monthly meetings.
• Willingness to contribute financially according to personal capacity, if selected.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AI and digital transformation trends.
• Ability to apply practical knowledge from art and science to policy development.
