Preop Recovery Nurse (PRN) – Ambulatory Surgical Center

About the role

We are seeking a Pre‑op & Recovery Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our Ambulatory Surgical Center team. In this on‑site, as‑needed position you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during and after surgery, ensuring safety and comfort in accordance with physician orders and center policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in the pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative phases.
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain control, and assist with patient preparation for surgery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and center standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.
• 2–5 years of experience caring for surgical patients in a pre‑op, intra‑op or recovery setting.
• Orthopedic experience is preferred.
